Ok so im 16 and,ive been friend zoned many times, anyways I was at the skate park with my longboard, and this hot girl my age comes up and asks if she could check it out, i said yes and she was riding it for a sec and gave it back and said she also longboards and if I want to go with her sometime to let her know, the thing is I never got her name, o rd number but I could wait where I was for here to show up maybe. I have just started learning how to board and im trying to find a good longboard just for skating around the neighborhood. there are no hills nearby and the road is pretty bumpy and overall low quality so im looking for a board that can keep its speed the longest. ive been looking at amazon and these 2 boards have been getting really good reviews so which of these two boards have the best stability and is able to maintain speed the longest? Voting Question: Should I get a skateboard or longboard?

I am heading off to college soon and am interested in getting either a skateboard of a longboard. I wouldn't be using it for super long distances, but I would indeed be using it for transportation. Longboards sound more geared toward transportation, but they also seem heavier and harder to carry around, which I don't like. Any advice on which type to get, what brands are the best, etc. would be much appreciated!
